Miss Lucy E. Fleming, daughter of Mrs. H. B. Fleming formerly of Solomon, was married to Mr. Herbert Williams of Montrose, Colorado, Christmas morning.
The wedding took place at the home of Dr. F. B. Fleming a brother of the bride in Montrose, Colorado.
Miss Fleming was born and raised just south of Solomon after graduating from Parkville, Mo. has made her home in Colo. where she has taught school.
Mr. Williams is a prosperous young farmer and they will be at home to their friends at their farm on Spring Hill Mesa.
Mrs. Williams is a sister of Mrs. G. W. Lank.

MONTROSE — Mrs. Herbert Williams, 77, died this morning at her home south of here.
She was born Lucy Fleming March 28, 1886 at Solomon, Kan., where she spent her childhood and went to school. She was graduated from Park College at Parkville, Mo.
She came to Colorado in 1910 and taught school at Naturita and Cimarron. She was a member of the Radio Church of God.
She married Herbert Williams Dec. 25, 1913 at Montrose.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Albert Tessitore of Montrose, Mrs. William E. Faast of Alhambra, Calif., and Mrs. Jack W. Kassler of Moab, Utah; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Lank of Junction City, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel of the Roses. The Rev. Burk McNair of Denver will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.

MONTROSE—Herbert Williams, 86, a taxidermist in the Riverside area since he retired from ranching some years ago, died at 4:15 p.m. Friday at his home.
Mr. Williams was a homesteader on Horsefly Mesa and operated a sheep ranch there fore many years. During winters, he worked in the coal mines at Gunnison.
Born March 4, 1888, at Howard, Kan., Mr. Williams moved to Telluride with his parents a few months later and attended schools there and in Montrose. He married Lucy Emily Fleming here on Dec. 25, 1913. Mrs. Williams died Dec. 18, 1963.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jack Kessler of Roswell, N.M., Mrs. William Faast of Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. Albert Tessitore of Montrose; a half-sister, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
