Miss Lurena Low, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Low who reside a few miles north of Solomon, and Mr. Fred B. Fleming, formerly of this place, were married last Saturday evening, April 4, at Kirksville, Mo.

The bride is a most estimable young lady and is well known to most of our readers. She has taught in the Solomon schools and also in her home district, and is recognized as one of Dickinson county's leading teacher.

These worthy young people have a host of friends in and around Solomon, with whom the Tribune joins in extending congratulations.

Dr. Fred B. Fleming

CAMBRIDGE — Dr. Fred B. Fleming died Sunday morning in Mary McClennan Hospital after a short illness. A doctor of osteopathy, he had lived in Cambridge for the past two years, following retirement from practice in California.

Dr. Fleming was born May 23, 1879, in Solomon, Kan., son of the late K. Glen and Helen Blair Fleming. He attended public schools there and was graduated from Park College, Mo., and American School of Osteopathy, Kirkville, Mo. He practiced in Montrose, Colo., for 40 years and after retiring from practice there, he practiced in Encinitas, Calif., until July of 1958.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frances Pae of Manchester, Conn.; a son, the Rev. K. Glen Fleming, pastor of the Cambridge United Presbyterian Church; two sisters, Mrs. George Lank of Junction City, Kan., and Mrs. Herbert Williams, Montrose, Colo., and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the O. K. Spurr Funeral Home by the Rev. Dr. James R. Lee. Interment will be in the family plot in Prairie Mound Cemetery, Solomon, Kan.

Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and evening.
