Tendered Surprise Party

A party which took the form of a birthday surprise for George T. Williston and the 20th weddiing anniversary for Mr. and Mrs. George T. Williston was tendered by Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Jeffries at the Williston home on Rugg street Monday evening. Several neighbors and friends were present to assist in the celebration. Old time dances were enjoyed, W. D. Heald, calling, and a three-piece orchestra was in attendance. Old time songs were sung after which refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Williston were the recipients of many gifts.

GEORGE WILLISTON

ST. ALBANS, Oct. 28 — George Thompson Williston, 82, life-long resident of this city, died Wednesday afternoon at his home at 35 Rugg St. He was born in St. Albans Dec. 26, 1872, son of George N. and Emile Thompson Williston. No near relatives survive.

Mr. Williston was a retired railway express messenger. He was a member of Frankling lodge F&AM.

Friends may call at the Raymon W. Heald Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Friday evening at 7:30.

Burial will follow in the family lot, Suffield, Conn., Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
