Local Woman's Mother Succumbs at Cleveland

Mrs. Esther B. Munn Wise, 84, mother of Mrs. Sarah Sheppard of the Marion Hotel, died Saturday in St. Alexis Hospital in Cleveland. Ten days ago she suffered a hop fracture in a fall at the home of her son, LaVere Wise in Newburgh Heights and she underwent an operation at the hospital Thursday. Her husband, Frank M. Wise, died in 1931 at Macedonia, O.

Born April 19, 1874, she was a native of Macedonia and she was a member of the Methodist Church there.

Surviving are her daughter with whom she resided on S. State St. here previously; her son; five grandchildren including David Cross of 134 Kenmore Ave. in Marion, and four great-grandchildren. She was last of her family.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Donald B. Johnson Funeral Home in Bedford, near Cleveland. Burial will be in Northfield Cemetery there.
