CHARLES NEWTON YOUNG, son of MARY HELEN MCDILL and AUGUSTUS BLAIR YOUNG, was born February 15, 1874 in Indiana,⁸ and died February 8, 1962 in Santa Barbara County, California.²⁵⁰ He is buried in Grand View Memorial Park and Cemetery, Glendale, Los Angeles, California.⁴⁵⁶

He married MARY R. HOUSTON on May 18, 1912 in Marin County, California.³⁵⁴¹ She was born May 20, 1873 in Spring Valley, Greene, Ohio,⁴⁵⁶ and died October 11, 1945 in Fair Oaks, Sacramento, California.⁸⁰⁹⁴ She is buried in Spring Valley Cemetery, Greene County, Ohio.⁴⁵⁶

MARY R. YOUNG

Funeral services for Mary R. Young, 67, resident of Fair Oaks for eight years, who died yesterday in her home, will be eld at 2 P. M. tomorrow in the Federated Church of Fair Oaks. Burial will be in Spring Valley, O.

Mrs. Young was a native of Spring Valley. Prior to coming to Fair Oaks, she had resided in San Francisco 40 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Federated Church of Fair Oaks. Rev. L. S. Patton, pastor of the church, will officiate at the funeral services.

Mrs. Young leaves her husband, Charles Newton Young, and her son, Corporal Warren H. Young with the army air forces in England.
