Reba E. McMahan

FREMONT, Neb. — Reba E. McMahan, 85, of Fremont, Neb., formerly of LaCrosse, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 1990, at Memorial Hospital in Fremont.

She was born Oct. 30, 1904, in Pontiac, Ill., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Bruder.

Mrs. McMahan lived in Fremont for 10 years, coming from LaCrosse.

Surviving are one daughter, Joyce LaFond of Nebraska; two sons, Jimmy of LaCrosse, and Ronald McMahan of Wheatfield; three sisters, Mary Carpenter of Wanatah, Ina Mae Heinold of LaCrosse, Joyce Pumroy of Kouts; four brothers, Clyde of Knox, Melvin of Westville, Dale and Robert Bruder, both of LaCrosse; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.

Services 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in LaCrosse; Rev. Art Heemer officiating; burial at Oak Grove Cemetery; visitation 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at Kosanke Funeral Home; memorials to the United Methodist Church in LaCrosse.
