CHAUNCEY BRUDER

LACROSSE — Chauncey G. (Bud) Bruder, 57, of LaCrosse, died at 6 a.m. today in his home after an illness of seven months.

A meat cutter by trade, he was born in LaCrosse on Oct. 24, 1909. On July 10, 1943 in Valparaiso, he married Milney Trinkle, who survives.

Bruder was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, Lions club and the Knox VFW Post 748. He was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving besides the widow are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Bruder, LaCrosse; four brothers, Clyde, Riviera Beach, Fla., and Dale, Robert, and Melvin, all of LaCrosse; and four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Mary) Carpenter, Wanatah, Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Pumroy, Kouts, Mrs. Reba McMahan and Mrs Charles (Ina Mae) Heinold, both of LaCrosse.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran church with the Rev. Carl Beuschlein officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery in Valparaiso.

Friends may call at the Kosanke Brothers Funeral home in Kouts after 4 p.m. Friday.
