CEDRIC J. AMES, CONVERSE, DIES

PERU—Cedric J. Ames, 65, Converse, died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in Marion General Hospital following a short illness.

He was employed at Chrysler Corp, Marion.

He was born in Grant County, March 17, 1905. He was married May 28, 1932 to Ruth Stambaugh, who survivies. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harold Berglan, Rt. 1, Swayzee; a half-sister, Mrs. Glen Lievrance, Liberty Center, Ind.; a half-brother, Raymond Hoffman, Mount Carmel, Ind., and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be in the Larrison-Myers Funeral Home, Converse at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Converse Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
