Thomas Sanders, who had passed his eightieth birthday, died yesterady morning at his home in Maitland. He moved into Maitland from his farm north of town a year ago. He was well-known in the Maitland vicinity.

Funeral rites for Mrs. Ida Mae Sanders, widow of Thomas Sanders, were conducted at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Christian church of Maitland by the Rev. D. Franklin Kohl, pastor of the First Christian church of Mayrville.
Mrs. Sanders died Sunday in Denver, Colo. where she had made her home for the past three years. Preceding that time she resided in Maitland.
A quartette composed of Miss Wilma Miller, Miss Helen Miller, Mrs. Irwin Rowlett and Mrs. Dale Weston accompanied by Miss Reed King sang "Beautiful Isle", "Saved by Grace" and "Nearer My God to Thee".
Pallbearers were Ralph DeBord, Charles Sloniger, Glen Crockett, Leonard Galinghers, Floyd Weller and Dr. E. D. Patterson.
