Mr. and Mrs. Horace C. Stanley of New London, N. H., announce the marriage of their daughter, Helen Elizabeth, to Lynn Staley Beals, Jr., son of Dr. and Mrs. Lynn S. Beals of Richmond Avenue, on Sunday, April 29th in Framington, Conn.
Mr. Beals now is attending Harvard Medical School, after being graduated from Harvard University, Exeter Academy and the Nichols School. His bride is a graduate of Smith College.
Mr. and Mrs. Beals are at home at 2 Foster Place, Cambridge, Mass.

Dr. Beals, 58, Former Hub Psychiatrist
NEW LONDON, N.H.—Dr. Lynn S. Beals Jr., 58, of Burpee La., former executive director of the Mass. Association for Mental Health, Inc., died Friday in Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, Hanover.
Dr. Beals was a graduate of Nichols School in Buffalo, N.Y., Phillips Exeter Academy, Harvard College, class of 1932, and Harvard Medical School, class of 1938.
In 1938 Dr. Beals began his medical career at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Philadelphia, and retired as a captain and chief of neuro-psychiatry at the Chelsea (Mass.) Naval Hospital more than two decades later.
He became staff psychiatrist for the Hampshire County School at East Rindge in 1959 and also held a similar position at New London Hospital.
Dr. Beal leaves his wife, the former Helen Stanley of Marblehead, Mass.; five daughters, Mrs. Michael A. Tatistcheff of North Bridgton, Me., Mrs. Richard W. Dennison of East Holden, Me., Mrs. Thomas P. Beal Jr. of Lincoln, Mass., and Margaret S. and Stephanie G. Beals, both of New London, and a sister, Mrs. Charles L. Steyaart of Lyons, N.Y.
