Miss Frances Beals Prior, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Prior of 108 Genesee street and Donald C. Becker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adam C. Becker of Schoharie, N. Y., were married at noon today at the home of the bride's parents. The ceremony was performed by Dr. Harold Reed, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Miss Evelyn McCann of this city and Raymond Dise of Little Falls, N. Y., were the attendants.
The bride was charming in a gown of white satin with a long veil of tulle. She carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley and white roses. Miss McCann wore rose georgette with a picture hat of the same shade and carried pink roses. Little Joann Ruth Williams was the flower girl.
Mendelssohn's wedding march was played by Miss Dorothy Bronson. Miss Janet Tower san "O Promise Me."
The house was attractively decorated with evergreens, palms and a profusion of pink rambler roses. Immediately after the ceremony a luncheon was served to the immediate families.
Covers were laid for 30 guests.
After a wedding trip to Montreal, Que., Thousand Islands, and the Adirondack mountains, Mr. and Mrs. Becker will make their home in Schoharie, N. Y.
Guests from out of town were: Miss Frances Dise of Little Falls, N. Y.; Gordon Becker, Paul Schaeffer and Mrs. Harold Warner of Schoharie; Miss Isla Stewart of Niagara Falls, and Miss Bertha L. Masters of Dorchester, Mass.

BROADALBIN — Mrs. Frances Becker of Schoharie, former French teacher at Broadalbin Central School, died Monday in Schoharie.
The funeral was held this afternoon in Schoharie.

SCHOHARIE — Donald C. Becker Sr., 86, of South Main Street, died yesterday at Ellis Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Hopewell Junction, Mr. Becker had lived in Schoharie since he was 2 years old and was a 1921 graduate of Schoharie High School.
Mr. Becker worked for 15 years in the Employment Service of the Labor Department of the General Electric Co., retiring in 1965.
He was a scoutmaster during the 1920s and was a past member of the Schoharie Fire Department. Mr. Becker received an award in 1984 for his part in initiating the Schoharie County Transportation Services.
He was a member of the New York State Archeological Society and the Schoharie County Historical Society. Mr. Becker was the historian for the town and county of Schoharie and received the Man of the Year Award at Schoharie Central School several years ago. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Schoharie and Schoharie Valley Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons. He was also a Shriner in Albany.
Survivors include his wife, Mary G. Becker, whom he married Oct. 31, 1976; two sons, Donald C. Becker, Jr. of Gallupville, Schoharie County, and John F. Becker of Fullerton, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Shaefer of Embudo, N.M., and Mrs. Martha Tyson of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Gordon Becker of Laguna Miguel, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Warner of Summit, Schoharie County; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
There will be no services or calling hours.
Contributions may be made to the Schoharie Fire Department of the Scho-Wright Ambulance Service.
