Mrs. Wilda Ray Carlisle 74, died at her home, 128 North Haves Avenue, Tuesday evening of natural causes.
She was born March 2, 1896, at Hyde Park, Utah, to George and Sarah Alice Woolfe Lyon.
She married Lewis William "Lew" Carlisle, July 22, 1922, at Brigham City, Utah.
They moved to the McCammon area, where Mr. Carlisle owned and operated a farm for many years. He died in 1957. Mrs. Carlisle has resided in Pocatell for the past four years.
Her hobbies were gardening and traveling.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Janice) Hall, McCammon; Mrs. Carolyn Davis, Pocatello and Mrs. Dorothy Wedding, Covina, Calif.; two brothers, George Bud Lyon, Salt Lake City, and Eldon DeVoe Lyon, Twin Falls; seven sisters, Mrs. Gladys Griffiths, Ogden; Mrs. John (Hazel) Bake, Wells, Nev.; Mrs. Arch (Harriett) Stoddard, Arcadia, Calif.; Mrs. Gordon (Orpha) Drown; Mrs. Harry (Ruth) Stevens; Mrs. John (DeNice) Knudson and Mrs. Bert (Florence) Cononis, all of Reno; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A daughter, Joanne Carlisle, and a sister, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in McCammon LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Wayne E. Hall officiating.
Burial will be in the family plot in the Smithfield, Utah, Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Henderson Funeral Home, 431 North 15th Avenue, THursday evening, and at the McCammon LDS Chapel on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
