Arch Stoddard Passes Away

Arch C. Stoddard passed away March 11.

Born in Hood River, Ore. he has been a local area resident for the past 30 years. He was retired as a building contractor.

Surviving are his wife, Harriett, daughter, Helen Williams of Arcadia; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mr. Stoddard was flown to Salt Lake City for funeral services and interment in Wasatch Lawn Mausoleum.

Harriette Lyon Stoddard, 96, passed away April 28, 1986 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Born May 22,1889 in Hyde Park, Utah to George and Alice Woolf Lyon. Married Arch C. Stoddard. He died in 1973.

Survivors: daughter, Mrs. A. Joseph (Helen) Williams, Orem; 3 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, G. B. Lyon, Salt Lake City; Devoe Lyon, Arizona; 4 sisters, Florence Canonic; Orpha Drown; Denece Knudson and Ruth Stephens, all of Reno, Nevada.

Cryptside services will held Monday, May 5, 1:30 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Mausoleum, 1001 11th Avenue.
