KENNETH NORTH CHANDLER

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bunker's Chapel for Kenneth North Chandler, 79, 820 E. Charleston, who died Monday in a local hospital. The Rev. Dale Hyber will officiate.

Mr. Chandler, born in Utah, Aug. 27, 1897, had lived in the Las Vegas area since 1934. He owned Smith and Chandler novelty and clothing store. He was a charter member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his widow, Alice Chandler of Las Vegas; a brother, W. F. Chandler of Orwell, Calif., and three sisters, Mrs. Burnell Brown of Ogden, Utah, Mrs. Campbell Baier and Mrs. Lee Pond, both of Lewiston, Utah.

Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Bunker's Mortuary is handling arrangements.

LAS VEGAS BOY DIES IN POOL

YELLOWSTONE PARK, Wyo., Aug. 26—(AP)—Kenneth N. Chandler, jr., fourteen, of Las Vegas, Nev., died in Old Faithful swimming pool here yesterday.

The youth was swimming with several companions and assertedly suffered a heart attack. Funeral services will be held Saturday in Ogden, Utah, where the boy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth N. Chandler, sr., live.
