DENMARK COUPLE MARRIED.

Denmark, Ia., Oct. 13—Mr. Kent Crabtree and Miss Helen Houston were united in marriage Tuesday evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Houston. Rev. Mr. Bensinger, of Fort Madison, was the officiating minister. About thirty relatives and friends of the couple witnessed the ceremony. After the congratulations, they left for a brief honeymoon trip after which they will be at home on Mr. Crabtree's farm one mile east of town.

Helen H. Crabtree

FT. MADISON —Mrs. Helen H. Crabtree, 80, Ft. Madison Rt. 1, died at 1:44 a.m. Monday, April 7, 1980, at Ft. Madison Community hospital.

She was born in Lee county March 27, 1900, to Arthur and Lizzie Mills Houston. She married Kent L. Crabtree Oct. 12, 1920, in Lee county; he died in 1954.

She was a member of the Denmark Congregational United Church of Christ and the Sawyer circle of the church, the Pollyanna club, the TTT's, Ft. Madison Women's club, Lee County Historical society, and the Lee county Farm Bureau.

Surviving: Daughter, Mrs. Lee (Wanda) Siegrist, West Point Rt. 1; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funerl: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Barr Memorial chapel, the Rev. Richard Hempenius; Fairview cemetery. A memorial has been established for her church.
