ORANGE COUNTY'S 36th traffic fatality of the year was chalked up late yesterday with the death of Mrs. Inez May Crane, 79, of 602 Cypress street, in the Santa Ana Valley hospital.
Mrs. Crane was injured on July 29, when the car she was riding rolled down an embankment at Laguna Beach. She suffered a broken leg and other injuries. Death was due to a blood clot on the brain, a direct result of the accident.
Mrs. Crane with her husband, William Crane, Mrs. David N. Kelley, her daughter and Mrs. Mae Haynes of 516 Cypress street drove to Laguna Beach that morning and parked the car on a grade. Mrs. Kelley was opening a house when the car started rolling down the include. Crane and Mrs. Haynes managed to jump from the machine before it struck the bottom, but Mrs. Crane could not get out.
No time for the funeral has been set but will be held at the Smith and Tuthill funeral parlors.
Besides Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Crane is survived by two other daughters and two sons, Mrs. George I. Tedford, Los Angeles, Mrs. Corle Seymour, Burlingame, Reid I. Crane, Burlingame and W. M. Crane, jr., Los Angeles.
At this time last year there had been 35 persons killed in automobile accidents in the county.

CRANE—Funeral services for Mrs. Inez May Crane, 79, who died August 6, 1935, will be held Friday at 2 p. m. from Smith and Tuthill's chapel with the Rev. W. S. Buchanan officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven cemetery.

Services at the Fairhaven cemeter will be under the auspices of Santa Ana Lodge 794 B.P.O.E.
