Miss Dorothy Dean's Engagement Announced
Mr. and Mrs. James Lindley Dean of Andover announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Dorothy Virginia Dean, to Lt. Mitchell Johnson, Jr., USAAF, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Johnson, also of Andover.
Miss Dean is a graduate of the Knox School in Cooperstown, N. Y., and attended Pine Manor Junior College and Curry College. Lt. Johnson has recently returned after serving 26 months in the European Theater of Operations, and is now stationed at Fort Sumner, N. M. Before entering the service he attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
