Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from Brown & Johnson's Funeral Chapel for Charles Frederick Eisert, 71, who died April 11 at the Castor hospital. Rev. W. P. Irving officiated. Pallbearers were A. L. Danyluk, Red Deer; R. Dolling, Lacombe; H. Dolling, Blackfalds, and A. H. Smith, Red Deer. Interment was in the Red Deer cemetery.
Born in North Dakota, he came to Canada in 1917 and in 1920 homesteaded in the Coronation district where he has farmed and ranched ever since. He retired about five years ago to Coronation. Surviving are his wife in Coronation, also four daughters, four brothers and three sisters.
