Miss Ethel Everett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Everett, and Mr. Ohio Nebraska Munn, were married yesterday at high noon at the home of the bride, 1013 Lake street. The affair was a simple home wedding with just the immediate family in attendance. Rev. D. N. McPhail performed the ceremony.

The bride wore a gown of white crepe de chine and georgette crepe and carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses and maiden hair ferns. Following the ceremony a wedding luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. Munn will be at home to their friends after October 1 at 2100 Lake street.

Mrs. Munn is a graduate of the 1910 class of the University of Washington and a member of the Alpha Pi Delta Sorority and for the past four years has been county superintendent of schools. Mr. Munn is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, class of 1910, and is a member of the Alpha Theta Chi fraternity. At present he is employed in the county engineer's office.

Before an altar lovely with flowers in pastel, and in the presence of close friends and relatives, the marriage of Mrs. Ethel Everett Munn to Mr. Pliny T. Snyder was quietly solemnized in the First Presbyterian church Friday evening, June 3, in a 6:30 o'clock candlelight service performed by Dr. Isaac P. Ward.

Preceding the ceremony Mr. John Roy Williams, violinist, played Hardelot's "Because," and Mrs. Helen Blake Williams sang DeKoven's "Oh Promise Me," with violin obligato by Mr. Williams and Miss Maud L. Williams at the piano.

The bride wore a print silk frock in fuchsia shades, with matching color in her tweed coat, and black sailor hat with fuchsia trim. Her flowers were orchids.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Snyder are well known. Mrs. Snyder was formerly county superintendent of schools, and has been prominent in P. E. O. work, serving as state president. She is a member of Chapter F, in Bellingham.

Mr. Snyder is county auditor.

Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Snyder departed on a honeymoon trip, keeping their destination secret.

MUNN—Ohio N. Munn, aged 53 years, passed away at a local hospital Wednesday, January 6, following a short illness. Mr. Munn, whose home is at 2100 Lakeway Drive, had been a resident here for the past thirty years and was engaged in engineering work, being connected with both county and city offices at various times. He also served as superintendent for the Port Commission for several years. Deceased was an attendant at the First Baptist CHurch and a past master of Whatcom Lodge No. 151, F. & A. M. Surviving relatives are the widow, Ethel E. Munn, and one daughter, Imogen at the home; also six brothers, Ewing, at Green River, Wyoming; Mark D. at Cleveland Heights, Ohio; A. M., at Newport, Del.; A. J., at Fayette, Mo.; E. C., at Fostoria, Ohio, and J. G. Munn, at Gridley, Calif. THe remains are resting at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 8, at 4 p. m. by the REv. Frederick W. Carstena, followed by the ritualistic services of Whatcom Lodge No. 151, F. & A. M. Cremation. Honorary pallbearers will be Phil Cook, Russell Arthurs, Dr. I. E. Miller, Don Powers, R. K. Smith and W. J. Rice, while Percy Heal, Ernest Callender, Richard Cade, Lawrence Keplinger, R. B. Richardson and S. Elroy McCaw will be the active bearers.

SNYDER — Pliny T. Snyder, age 81, 2100 Lakeway Drive, passed away Monday, December 28. Mr. Snyder was born in Kansas, and came to this community in 1926, where he had resided since. He was graduated from Washburn college, Topeka, Kansas, in 1906, where he received his A.B. degree, majoring in Business Administration and Economics. He was in Farm Administration for twelve years; in the banking business for ten years; Whatcom County Treasurer's Office seven years; Credit Manager Wahl's Dept. Store three years; Whatcom County Auditor eight years; Whatcom County Assessor's Deputy one year; Washington State Highway Dept. four years, and Precinct Committeeman as of this year. Mr. Snyder served as a Director of School Boards; was a member of the Presbyterian Church, serving on Session twenty-five years; Supt. of Church School; Treasurer of Church; Trustee of Church Board; President of Laymen's League and was a Scoutmaster and Scout Committeeman for ten years. He was President of the Breakfast Club for three years; President of the Toastmasters International 1 term and Secretary-treasurer for three years; member of 20th Century Club, serving as Treasurer for 10 years; member of Kiwanis Club 16 years and the Washington Club 18 years. He was a Master Mason 39 years; a member of Scottish & York Rite Bodies 32 years, and a member of the Shrine 39 years. Survivors are his widow, Ethel M., at home; one son, Pliny Thomas Snyder Jr., city; two daughters, Miss Roberta Snyder, Olympia; Mrs. Jean Munn Miller, Yakima; grandchildren, William T. Snyder, Everett; Mrs. Elizabeth Snyder Lewis, Agana, Guam; Miss Laurie Lee, Marilyn Kay and Carolyn Snyder, city; Harvey Miller, Hawaii; three sisters, Mrs. Ursula Dailey, Lebanon, Ohio; Mrs. Eva Bush, Sterling, Kansas; Mrs. Lena Holcomb, Wichita, Kansas. Services will be conducted by Rev. Arthur Bezanson, Rev. Grant Whipple and officers of Bellingham Bay Lodge No. 44, F.&A.M., Wednesday, December 30 at 3 p.m. at the JONES FUNERAL HOME, followed by cremation.

Mrs. Ethel Snyder, Former School Supervisor, Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Mann Snyder, 83, 2100 Lakeway Drive, a former Whatcom County school district superintendent and life resident of Bellingham will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Jones Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard B. Cole.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, PEO Chapter F, Whatcom County WCTU, Alpha Xi Delta, VFW and the 20th Century Club. Mrs. Snyder died Monday.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jean Miller of Honolulu, Hawaii and Miss Roberta Snyder of Olympia; a son, Thomas of Bellingham; a sister, Mrs. Iva Deering of Marysville, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
