Mrs. Willow B. Gowan, Jackson, Miss., and Donald W. Ford, were married Saturday evening at 9 o'clock at the Congregational parsonage by the Rev. William T. Dunstan. The young couple was attended by Mrs. Carlie B. Ford and Mrs. W. T. Dunstan.

DONALD W. FORD

LITTLE VALLEY —Donald W. Ford, 67, of 305 Rock City St., died Friday (Jan. 9, 1981) in St. Francis Hospital, Olean.

Born Jan.15, 1913, in Little Valley, he was the son of Walter B. and Carlie Bedient Ford. On Nov. 20, 1948, he married the former Willow Iverson, who survives.

A veteran of World War II, Mr. Ford had served with the 78th Division of the Army.

He had been employed with the Cattaraugus County Highway Department in the parts department, retiring in 1971.

Mr. Ford was a member of Little Valley American Legion; Little Valley Volunteer Fire Department for 48 years; and the Cattaraugus County Volunteer Firemen's Association.

Surviving besides his widow, are a son, James Ford of Massena; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Beth) Gordon of Dayton, Ohio; and three nephews.

Friends may call at the VanRensselaer and Son Funeral Home, Little Valley, today from 7 to p p.m. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. William Blume, pastor of the First Congregational Church of Little Valley, officiating. Burial will be in Little Valley Rural Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church of Little Valley or to the Little Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
