He married EDNA CLEORA HALL on October 16, 1901 in Lebanon, Boone, Indiana,⁸⁷⁹⁰ daughter of MARY HOSFORD and REV. WHITFIELD HALL. She was born November 29, 1877 in Catlin, Indiana,¹⁸⁰⁶ and died December 19, 1939 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois.¹⁸⁰⁶ She is buried in IOOF Cemetery, Rochester, Fulton, Indiana.⁴⁵⁶

ROCHESTER. — Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Val Zimmerman mortuary here for Edna Hall Frain, aged 62, who died Tuesday in St. Bernard hospital in Chicago. Rev. George J. Long officiated and burial was made in the Odd Fellows cemetery here. For a number of years her father, Rev. Whitfield Hall, served as pastor of the Methodist church in this city. In Lebanon, Ind., on Oct. 16, 1901, she was married to Carl Frain, of Rochester. She was a graduate of the Rochester High School in the class of 1985 and also was graduated from the Indianapolis Conservatory of Music. For many years Mrs. Frain taught piano in this community and later in Chicago. The husband and one brother, Earl Hall, of Arizona, are the only survivors.

Pulaski Land Owner Expires in Chicago

WINAMAC, Ind. — Carl Frain, 76, Pulaski county land owner, was found dead in bed at the Majestic hotel in Chicago Monday morning.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Frain. His wife, Edna, died several years ago. Survivors include a cousin, Frank, of Winamac.

The body was removed to the Zimmerman funeral home in Rochester.
