A pretty wedding was solemnized last evening at the residence of Ben Davidson, 1915 Jackson street, the contracting parties being Leonard Frank, son of A. H. Frank, and Miss Mae Nadro, of San Francisco, Cal. About seventy of the friends of the groom were present at the ceremonies and participated in the festivities that followed.
The house was beautifully decorated in smilax and carnations.
At 7:30 o'clock the bridal procession approached the corner of the drawing room chosen for the ceremony, where Rabbi Eugene Mannheimer, of Mt. Sinai temple, was waiting to perform the marriage rites. The bride was escorted by her uncle, H. Asher, and was attended by two bridesmaids, her sister, Miss Ann, and Miss Natie Frank, sister of the groom. The groom was unattended.
After the short but impressive ceremony had been performed the newly married couple received the congratulations of their friends. A reception in their honor followed. Those receiving were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Frank, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Davidson, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Davidson, Mrs. C. F. Baldwin and Miss Natie Frank. Delicious refreshments were served.
The groom is the junior member of the firm of Frank & Son, caterers, and is being recognized as a young business man of integrity and ability. The bride, while comparatively unknown in Sioux City, is possessed of a winsome manner which will insure he popularity among Sioux City people.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank are expected to leave today for the east, where they will spend a couple of weeks on their wedding tour. On their return to Sioux City they will take up their residence at the home of A. H. Frank, 508 Fifteenth street.

About $50,000 in insurance was left by Leonard Frank, Sioux City restaurant owner, who comitted suicide Wednesday, to his widow, Mrs. Mae Frank.
Frank's will was filed for probate Monday morning iwth Harold W. Henderson, clerk of the district court.
In his will, the restaurant proprietor left his estate to his widow, stating that he had confidence that she would look out for the best interests of their three daughters, Dorothy, Virginia and Theresa.
It is said that the estate, outside of the insurance, is small.
The will was drawn in 1922. E. E. Bason and M. Barish were witnesses.

Leonard Frank, widely known Sioux City restaurant man, committed suicide by shooting himself on Wednesday afternoon.
The tragedy occurred in the Republic cafe, 503 Nebraska street, Sioux City, which has ben owned and operated by Frank for almost a year.
Frank shot himself twice through the heart with a .38 caliber revolver as he sat at his desk. C. Owens, 211 West Sixth street, Sioux City, a negro employe, heard the shots and called Mrs. Christine Campbell, 711 John street, Sioux City, also an employe. Mrs. Campbell notified police.
Ill health was believed to have been the cause for the suicide as the restaurant man had been sick for several months. On September 7, 1927, he suffered a stroke on a downtown street and for some time thereafter his life was despaired of. However, he recovered sufficiently to leave the hospital and his complete recovery was expected.
On the desk in front of Frank's body Coroner J. H. Robbins found the following note which left no doubt as to death having been a suicide:
"Please send my body to Westcott's undertaking parlors."—L. W. Frank.
"P.S.—And I want to be laid next to my father and mother."
The second note was addressed to Mr. Frank's wife and children. In part, it read:
"My Dear May and Children: I am a sick man and feel miserable. I guess what I am about to do is for the best. . . . I just don't care to live any longer."
