He married CLARA LYLE SWEET on February 1, 1899 in Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota,611, 1979 daughter of ELIZABETH LONGMUIR COCHRANE and KAY CHITTENDEN SWEET. She was born October 30, 1868 in Ft. Wayne, Allen, Indiana,76, 71 and died April 13, 1938 in Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota.76 She is buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota.79

Invitations have been received in the city to the marriage of Miss Clara Lyle Sweet, of Mankato, Minn., to Mr. Paul Grierson, on Wednesday of this week. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kay Chittenden Sweet, former residents of this city. Miss Sweet was born in Fort Wayne, and is a cousin to Miss Margaret and Miss Jennie Cochran of this city. She is a charming cultured young lady, who has always made friends upon occasion of her visits here. For the past two years Miss Sweet has been teaching in the art school of Calumet, Mich.

The happy event occured at the residence of the bride's parents, 316 Byron street, at 1:30 o'clock, the Rev. L. W. Beattie, pastor of the Presbyterian church, performing the ceremony.
