Mrs. Emily Sweet Johnson became the bride of Mr. Francis Patrick Hoerr of Mankato on Wednesday at a ceremony performed at 7:30 o'clock by Rev. Father Cullen in the blue room of the Leamington.
Near relatives and close friends of the bridal couple witnessed the ceremony. Dinner was served to 24 guests. mr. and Mrs. Hoerr left for the East that evening and on their return will be at home in Mankato.
Among the out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. K. C. Sweet, Ryder, N. D., the bride's parents; Mrs. Clara Sweet Grierson, Calumet, Mich., her sister, and Mrs. Grierson's daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoerr, Mrs. H. E. Hance and her son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Warner Clements, Mr. and Mrs. Braden, Mr. Martin, all of Mankato.

MANKATO, Minn., March 18.—Victor E. Johnson, of this city, died today at the home of his father-in-law, C. K. Sweet. He was twenty-six years old, and was married about two years ago. He was born in Cannon Falls, this state, and held the position of ticket agent at Waseca for several years. At the time of his final sickness he was ticket agent at Boise City, Idaho. A member of the Knights of Pythias lodge, and a most excellent young man. The deceased leaves a widow and one child, a sister, Mrs. Josa Berry, of St. Paul, and a brother, Charkles K. Johnson, of Minneapolis.
