There were two weddings at the M. E. parsonage last Wednesday evening, Rev. Dickey officiating in each case. Guy Smith and Miss Alta Stevenson, both of this city, were the contracting parties in the second ceremony, which was performed in the presence of a considerable number of guests, principally relatives of the bride and groom. They will live in Casper.

An announcement has been made of the marriage of Alta E. Smith of Casper and Watts W. Foster of Denver. The couple exchanged vows on Wednesday, Dec. 19.
The Rev. C. Wayne Sypert performed the ceremony at his home in Mountain View.
The newlywed couple went on a wedding trip to Denver and will return after the holidays.

Guy O. Smith, 32 years of age, a resident of Natrona county for 25 years, died at 12:30 o'clock this morning at a local hospital where he had been confined for nine months with illness. Death resulted from leakage of the heart.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Methodist church, Rev. L. E. Carter officiating. Burial will be made in Highland cemetery.
Mr. Smith was born August 6, 1889, at Washington, Iowa, and removed to this region when a small boy. He had been in the employ of the Midwest Refining company prior to serious illness which developed early in the year.
Surviving him to mourn his untimely passing are a wife and small son, and a brother, Fred Smith, who resides at Laramie, Wyo.

Services for Watts W. Foster, 76, retired railroader, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bustard Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Stanley Fixter, First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Foster died Sunday night at Natrona County Memorial Hospital. He was born July 1, 1894 in Humansville, Mo. As a young man he moved to Raton, N.M. where he was a railroader. He married his first wife in Raton and she died in 1951. He worked on a powerline crew and moved to Denver and then in 1955 to Casper.
He married Alta E. Smith, Dec. 19, 1956 and retired in 1962.
Survivors are his wife of Casper; two sons, William W. of Los Angeles and Wilson T. of Casper; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Mathis, Richland, Wash.; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Smith, of Cheyenne; Mrs. Helen Roberts and Mrs. Kathleen Biehl, both of Los Angeles; and a brother Rolla of Albuquerque N.M. Nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
The body will lie in state til Wednesday noon, at which time the casket will be closed.

Mrs. Alta E. Foster, 76, who came to Casper when she was two weeks old, died Thursday night at her home at 322 South Third Ave., Mountain View.
Funeral services are tentatively planned for Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Bustard's.
Mrs. Foster was born Aug. 2, 1896, at Hays City, Kan., and was raised on a ranch at Rock Springs. She attended schools in Casper.
In 1915 she married Guy Smith, who died in 1921. She married Watts W. Foster on Dec. 19, 1956, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 1970.
She was employed as a cook at the Standard Refinery in the Industrial building from 1921 to 1935, and for the next four years worked on the switchboard at the refinery.
Survivors include one son, Wilson T. Smith of Casper; a sister, Mrs. Rose Pape of Daniel, Wyo., and two grandsons.
