Mrs. Ed Stevenson died Monday afternoon, after a protracted illness of about ten months. Mrs. Stevenson has been a resident of Casper for a great many years and ranged among the city's pioneers. The deceased is survived by a husband and family.

E. L. Stevenson, Retired Rancher, Dies Here Friday

Edward L. Stevenson, 86, pioneer sheep rancher of Central Wyoming, died Friday morning at Natrona Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Stevenson was born April 2, 1869, in Shelby County, Ind. At a very early age he moved with his parents to Elk City, Kan., and was reared in that part of the country. Coming to Wyoming in 1896, he owned and operated various sheep ranches in this state since that time. He had been retired during the last few years.

Mr. Stevenson and Mrs. Mamie Parker were married in Casper in 1929.

He is survived by his wife, at the family home at Mountain View; a son, Edward L. Stevenson Jr., Casper; a daughter, Mrs. William Pate, Pinedale; three stepchildren, Harry Guy, Ranier, Ore., Mrs. Alta Smith, Casper and Robert Parker, Casper.

Services and interment will be announced later by the Bustard Funeral Home.
