Randolph, May 6 — Erastus Hall died at his home in East Randolph yesterday, aged 85 years. He was among the early settlers in the town and had been in the business of manufacturing lumber for a half century. He was a mechanic and invented and patented machinery for making shingles, and erected numerous mills in Western New York and Canada. Mr. Hall was an Odd Fellow for many years. He leaves a wife, aged 88 years, and three sons.

Mrs. Erastus Hall died at E. Randolph, Feb. 11, aged 90 years, 6 months. She was an early settler in this region. She and her husband lived together 70 years. Members of the Odd Fellow and Rebeka lodges attended her funeral; she was one of the early members of the latter order.
