Hall, Harold V.

Harold V. Hall, 86, of Bevil Oaks died January 9, 2002. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 11, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Broussard's Mortuary Chapel, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont followed by burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Vick, Gabe Vick, Mike Hall, Lee Hall, and Casey Hall and honorary pallbearers will be all the young people Harold helped throughout the years. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Mortuary. Born February 14, 1915 in New Rockford, North Dakota, Mr. Hall had been a resident of the area since 1919. During World War II, he served in the United States Army and was a P.O.W. in Germany. He was a retired farmer, avid horseman, and one of the founders of the Quarter Horse Association of Jefferson County. Harold is survived by his son, Harold David Hall and his wife Laura of Beaumont; brother, Orville C. Hall of Bevil Oaks; sisters, Violet Padden of Sulphur, Louisiana, Mary Jane Trotman of Beaumont, and Alta Wolfe of Mesa, Arizona; and one granddaughter, Katy Hall of Beaumont. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson County 4-H Extension Service, 1295 Pearl Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701
