Vinton Clyde Hall, 79, a retired dairy farmer who resided on the Sour Lake Road, died at 6:10 a. m. Friday after a short illness, in St. Elizabeth Hospital.
A native of New York, Mr. Hall had lived in this area 42 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Davida Hall of Beaumont; three sons, Lester, Harold, and Orvill Hall, all of Beaumont; three daughters, Mrs. Violet Padden of Sulphur, La., Mrs. Jane Trotman of Beaumont and Mrs. Alta Cook of Tempe, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. A. Ebner of Deweyville, Tex., and Mrs. L. N. Clure of Cambridge, Idaho; three brothers, Lloyd Hall of Salamanca, N. Y., Harold Hall of Milwaukie, Ore., and Hartman Hall of Timpson, Tex., and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be announced by the Broussard Mortuary.

Funeral for Davida S. Hall, 87, of Bevil Oaks, was to be at 2 p.m. today in Broussard's Mortuary with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
She died at 4:10 a.m. today in Baptist Hospital. A native of New Rockford, N.D., she had lived in Beaumont since 1919.
Survivors include three daughters, Violet Padden of Sulphur, La., Jane Trutman of Beaumont, and Alta Cook of Tempe, Ariz., three sons, Lester J., Harold V. and Orville C. Hall, all of Bevil Oaks, nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, a sister, Mary Jane Bervig of New Rockford; and a brother, Harry Craig of Montana.
