JAMES W. HALL

James W. Hall was born at Atkinson, Neb., Sept. 30 1905 to Claude D. and Lulu Mae Hall. He passed away at Sandhills General Hospital in Valentine Jan. 30, 1962.

Jim had been a resident of Valentine since his discharge from the Sea Bees after service in the Pacific theater in World War II. He was employed at Citizens Meat Market during this time and his leisure hours were spent hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Funeral services were held Feb. 3 at Watts Funeral Home with interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Fern, a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Grooms; a son Todd Jordan; a daughter by a former marriage, Mrs. Della Nichols of Syracuse, a sister, Mrs. Juanita McCrillis of Pomona; five brothers, DeLoss of Oakland, DeVoe and Milo A. of Ainsworth; Dale D. of Sidney and Harry E. of Norfolk, also a granddaughter.
