Gregarious and fun-loving as well as talented and efficienet, the Albert B. Potters of Pasadena have quite a houseful these days. They and their younger daughter Cynthia are playing host to their elder daughter, Brooks (Mrs. Brewster B.) Hanson, the Hansons' three children and a Flemish governess, all holidaying here from Antwerp, Belgium
Mr. Hanson, an officer of Tradax Belgique S.A., and Brooks are enjoying their holiday in Southern California where many of their days have been spent golfing at Annandale.
They and their Brewster Jr., 9, Holley, 5, and Pamela, 3 (they all can jabber away in French as fluently as in English); Miss Aline Van Eyken, the governess who is affectionately known to her charges as Lyn; Cynthia Potter, the A. Bailey Potters Jr. with their Penelope, 7, and John, 4, all joined the senior Potters at St. Malo Beach to celebrate their 33rd wedding anniversary — the first time in more than 10 years that the entire family has been under one roof upon such an occasion.
Miss Van Eyken is enthralled with Southern California's sunshine and says she'll never forget the beach and that fact that there was never a day when it was too cold to swim. It is her first trip to this country.
Mrs. Potter is as artistic as she is talented. An interior decorator, she still finds time to do a certain amount of sewing (ntile a few years ago she used to make all her own clothes), indulge in her favorite hobby of flower arrangement and gardening (she's a member of the Pasadena Garden Club and former member of the board of the Pasadena Flower Show Association), as well as attend many art exhibits. She's also a member of the Junior League of Pasadena and the Art Alliance of the Pasadena Art Institute.
Cynthia and Brooks have many of their mother's interests and have inherited their parents' charm.
While at Pine Manor Junior College, Cynthia won first prize for an advertising layout in the Murray Memorial Advertising competition sponsored by Alpha Delta Sigma, national advertising fraternity, for students east of the Mississipi.
Now a ward clerk at the Huntington memorial Hospital, she is planning to become a nurse.
Brooks majored in art at Scripps College and is an expert with a sewing needle. Even Noel, the senior Potters' miniature French poodle, has his accomplishments—he can "play" the piano!

Much informal entertaining has been inspired by the visit here of the Brewster Hansons (Brooks Potter) en route home to Geneva after a business trip to Tokyo. They toured the South Seas then flew here for a visit with Brooks' mother, Mrs. Albert Bailey Potter.
Mrs. Potter invited a few of her daughter's closest schoolday friends and their parents for cocktails one evening and Mrs. Louis Pfau gave a small dinner party.
Brooks will leave this week for Geneva whence her husband has preceded her. Among those who have entertained her are the John Earle Jardines Jr., who had a few in for cocktails, and Mrs. Evans Wheeler and her mother, Mrs. Harry Wiley, who gave a luncheon at the Town Club.
