MRS. EFFIE J. HARVEY

Mrs. Effie J. Harvey, wife of Lester I. Harvey, died suddenly at the Laconia hospital, Monday afternoon. She was born in this city March 22, 1889, daughter of Charles W. and Ermina (French) Classon.

Mrs .Harvey was an active member of the First Unitarian church and the Women's Alliance of the church, she was also a member of the Semper Fidelis club and was a former member of the Nashaway Woman's club.

The surviving relatives include her husband, Lester I. Harvey; one son, Philip C. Harvey of Frederick, Maryland; a granddaughter, Anne Elizabeth; one sister, Mrs. James Field of Beverly, Mass, also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Davis funeral home, 1 Lock st, Wednesday evening from 7 until 9.

LESTER HARVEY

Lester I. Harvey, 88, of 18 Charles St., a native of this city, died at his home Tuesday after a sudden illness.

A son of J. Frank and Maude (Parmenter) Harvey, he was born in this city on Oct. 10, 1890. He was educated in local schools, and during his working years, served as office supervisor with The Nashua Manufacturing Co. and later with Textron, Inc.

A member of the Unitarian-Universalist Church for many years, Mr. Harvey was a member of Granite Lodge No. 1, I.O.O.F. for more than 50 years.

Members of his family include a son, Philip Harvey of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; a granddaughter, Mrs. Anne Knight of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; two brothers, Harold D. Harvey of this city and Ralph Harvey of Lawrence, Mass. Also, several nieces and nephews. His late wife, Mrs. Inez M. (Damon) Harvey, died in July of 1977.

The Farwell Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

LESTER I. HARVEY

Funeral services for Lester I. Harvey, 88, of 18 Charles St., a well-known native of this city, were held in the Farwell Funeral Home Friday morning at 11. The Rev. Donald W. Rowley, pastor of the Unitarian-Universalist Church, officiated.

The bearers were representatives of Granite Lodge #1, IOOF, and included Raymond Lovejoy, James Annis, Leonard Rule and George Kizala.

Burial was at the family lot in Edgewood Cemetery.
