WALTER A. CLASSON

Walter H. Classon, a life-long resident of this city, died at a local hospital Wednesday evening. He was born Jan 7, 1886, son of Charles and Ermina (French) Classon.

Mr Classon had been an employe of the Nashua Mfg company for over 44 years and at the time of his death was a second hand in No 5 weaving. He had been in failing health for several years but had been active until the past few weeks.

Fraternally he was a member and past noble grand of Granite lodge No 1; Olive Branch Rebekah lodge No 1; a past patriach of Nashoonon Encampent, a major and clerk of Canton A, Patriarchs Militant, No 9; member of Rising Sun lodge, No 39, F and AM; all Scottish Rite Bodies in the NH Consistory; the Church of the Good Shepherd Men's Club; and was a charter member of the Foremen's club of Nashua.

The surviving relatives include, a daughter, Mrs. James R. Annis; a son, Gerald W. Classon, two grandchildren, Kendall and Sandra Classon; three sisters, Miss Gertrude L. Classon, Mrs Lester I. Harvey, both of Nashua, and Mrs James Field of Beverly, Mass; two uncles, three nephews and several cousins.

Friends may call at the Davis funeral home, 1 Lock st. on Friday afternoon and Friday evening from 4 until 9.
