FILER, June 3—Simple nuptials performed at 4 p.m. today in the private dining room at the Rogerson hotel in Twin Falls united in marriage Miss Iva Lou Holler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Holler, long-time Filer residents, and Manuel Burgess, Tacoma, Wash., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Burgess, Filer.
The ceremony was read by Harry B. Jennings, justice of the peace, in the presence of immediate relatives. The couple was unattended.
For her marriage, the bride chose a pale blue sheer wool suit with white accessories, and her corsage was of pink rosebuds.
Her mother wore a flowered grey and white silk crepe afternoon dress, and the bridegroom's mother wore a blue silk afternoon dress. Each had a corsage of sweet peas.
Bridal refreshments, featuring the tiered wedding cake, were served immediately after the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Burgess will go immediately by bus to Tacoma where he is a welder in the shipyards. Mrs. BUrgess was a student at Filer high school the past year.

TWIN FALLS—Iva L. Burgess McCoy, age 78, of Twin Falls, passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at Heritage Retirement Center.
She was born Jan. 27, 1927, the daughter of Lawrence E. and Vivian Robinson Holler at Filer, Idaho. On June 3, 1944, she married Manuel Burgess at Filer and to this union three children were born, Darrell, Dave and Jacque. This marriage later ended in divorce. She later married Mance McCoy and this marriage later ended in divorce. Both husbands have now preceded her in death, also two brothers, two sisters and her parents.
Iva enjoyed reading, playing cards, traveling, and her years spent in California and Alaska. She was a member of the First Christian Church. The most important things in her life were her family and being a homemaker.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Darrell (Gale) Burgess and Dave (Linda) Burgess, both of Twin Falls, and Jacque (Rick) Hartley of Boise, Idaho; a brother, L.E. Holler of Rupert Idaho; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews; and her special cousin, Betty Pastoor.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, at White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park." Burial will follow at Filer Cemetery. Should friends desire, contributions can be given to Hospice Visions Inc.
