Grandfather of Bride Officiates

HOLLISTER, Aug. 19 — Miss Beth Holler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Holler of Filer, and H. R. Foulk of Twin Falls were married here this evening, the ceremony being performed by the bride's grandfather, H. M. Holler, Twin Falls justice of the peace, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. M. McDaniel.

Attending the young couple were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kuykendall of Twin Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. Foulk will make their home in Pocatello where he is employed by the Zion Wholesale company.

BETH SCHUYLER

FILER — Beth Schuyler, 70, Filer, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1988, at the Twin Falls Clinic and Hospital.

She was born in Tremonton, Utah, on Nov. 27, 1917 and moved to Filer as a young girl receiving her education there.

She married Hod Schuyler on Oct. 8, 1949 in Filer and had resided there since. She was a member of the Filer Nazarene Church and the Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Steven Schuyler of Pomona, Calif.; two daughters, Carol Kalvfleisch of Filer and Suzanne Teeter of Pocatello; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene Holler of Palmdale, Calif., and Lawrence Holler Jr. of Burley; two sisters, Irma Dodge of Olympia, Wash., and Iva Lou McCoy of Leona Valley, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at White Mortuary in Twin Falls with the Rev. Robert Sturtevant officiating. Burial will follow in the Filer I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.

The family suggests that memorials may be given to the Filer Nazarene Church.

Horace N. 'Hod' Schyler

Horace N. "Hod" Schuyler, 79, of Filer, died Friday, Aug. 30, 1996 at his home.

He was born May 1, 1917 in Golden Valley, Idaho, the son of Harry and Gladys Stansell Schuyler. He attended schools in Pleasant Valley, Kimberly and Twin Falls.

During World War II, he served in the South Pacific Theater with the U.S. Army for five years.

Following the war, he returned to Twin Falls, where he worked for Max's Harness Shop, and worked for Twin Falls Flour Mill for 18 years.

He married Beth Holler at Filer on Oct. 8, 1949, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 16, 1988. Mr. Schuyler was a member of the American Legion, D.A.V., and was a charter member of the Magic Valley Trail Machine Association.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and working with wood. He is survived by: two daughters, Carol Diane (Roger) Kalbfleisch, of Filer, Suzanne (Rod) Teeter of Pocatello; one son, Steven Jay (Lynne) Schuyler of Twin Falls; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother, Sam Schuyler, and one sister, Della Yadon.

Funeral services for Horace "Hod" Schuyler will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 1996 at White Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Gernie Iwerson officiating. Interment will follow at the Filer I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Friends may call at White Mortuary Tuesday, Sept. 3, 1996 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
