MRS. HORNER, 90, SIGOURNEY, DIES

Half Century Resident of Community Called; Funeral Saturday

Sigourney, Ia., Dec. 29.—Mrs. C. C. Horner, aged 90 years, 50 years a resident of Sigourney, died yesterday morning in the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Jackson. Shock caused by a fall last Friday was immediate cause of her death.

Mrs. Horner was born in Mansfield, O., her parents moving to Colorado when she was a child. She spent her early life there and married C. C. Horner. They were the parents of five children. One son and two daughters preceded her in death. Mr. Horner died in 1927. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jackson, with whom she has been living, and Mrs. William Schnitzlein, Pasadena, Calif., a grandson, and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Jackson home, conducted by the Rev. N. R. Miles of the Presbyterian church. Burial will be in the West cemetery.
