Charlene Houston Hart passed away September 4, 2008. She was born on October 29, 1925, in Bixby, OK to Harold and Velmya Houston. Charlene graduated from Tulsa Central and Oklahoma A & M where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. In 1948, she married Silas M. Hart, a marriage that lasted 60 years. They are long time members of First Presbyterian Church of Okla. City. They had two daughters, Hillary Hart of St. Petersburg, FL and Allison Hart of Edmond, OK. Grandchildren are Taylor, Avery, McKenzie and Connor Hart-Bowlan. No flowers please. Donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of First Presbyterian Church, 1001 NW 25th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73106. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 8, 2008 in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church.

Silas Milton Hart, 87, of Oklahoma City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Charlene Houston Hart. He is survived by his sister, Ann Hart Meyer; and two daughters, Hillary Hart and Allison Hart; as well as four grandchildren: Taylor, Avery, McKenzie and Connor Hart-Bowlan. A funeral service will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Monday, December 13 at 10:00 am. A celebration of his life will follow in the church parlor. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to First Presbyterian Church for the Cursillo/Pilgrimage organization.
