Mrs. Derrickson Dies at Orion

ORION, Ill., June 26.—Mrs. George Derrickson died in the Galesburg City hospital where she had been taken last week. Mrs. Derrickson was born on the farm, where her family now reside, December 19, 1866. Her father, Thomas Huston, was one of the early pioneers of Western township, and her entire life has been spent here. She was united in marriage 27 years ago to George Derrickson and her husband and three children, Melvin, Alvin and Bessie, all at home, mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate mother. Mrs. Derrickson was an active member of the Orion M. E. church and was esteemed by a large circle of friends. Funeral services were held from the home with interment in Western cemetery.
