Sherrard, June 12.—Miss Marjorie Huston, graduate last month of Sherrard high school, and John Schnepf were married yesterday afternoon at Muscatine in the parsonage of the United Brethren church.
Attendants were Miss Dorothy Thor and Robert Renner. The bride wore a rose colored suit, and carried red roses. Miss Thor wore blue with white accessories and carried an arm bouquet of red carnations.
The relatives and friends who attended the wedding were the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Huston, her sisters Vivian and Natalie and brother Kennard, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Huston of Orion, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Tomlinson, O. A. Tomlinson of Annawan, Miss Nellie Johnston, Miss Lorraine Jinks, Virgil Spengler, and Ralph Groves.
The bridegroom is employed near Muscatine. The couple will live in Illinois City.

John V. Schnepf, 68, of 1073 50th Ave., East Moline, died Sunday a Lutheran Hospital.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at VanHoe Funeral Home, East Moline, with the Rev. Thomas Bailey, of First Baptist Church, Moline, officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery on Arsenal Island.
Visitation is 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Schnepf had been a policeman in Prophetstown and Orion, and a security officer at Diamond Head Housing Development, Hot Springs, Ark, retiring in 1975.
He was born in Alix, Alberta, Canada. He married Marjorie Huston in 1939 in Muscatine.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his widow; daughters, Mrs. Sharon Peer, Colona, and Mrs. Ruth Summerford, Albany, Ga.; five grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Viola Stewart, Alix; a half-sister, Mrs. Mary Burchnell, Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, and a half-brother, Harry Lakeman, Ponoka, Alberta, Canada.

Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mrs. Schnepf died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at Trinity Medical Center-West Campus, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Moline, American Diabetes Association, or Hillcrest Nursing Home Activities Fund.
Marjorie Huston was born June 7, 1921, in Savanna, Ill., the daughter of Charles R. and Velta (Miller) Huston. SHe married John V. Schnepf on June 11, 1939, in Muscatine, Iowa. He died March 21, 1982. She had worked as a cook over the years in various places in Illinois. She also had worked at Sables Jewelry Store, East Moline. She had always been helpful to her family. She enjoyed crocheting.
Survivors include daughters, Sharon Peer, of Geneseo, and Ruth Summerford, of Leesburg, Ga.; grandchildren, Patti Kowitz, Danny Peer, and Elizabeth Felts; step-grandchildren Buddy, Shane and Susan; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Natalie Bizarri, of Coal Valley, and Mary Liston, of Austin, Texas; sister-in-law, Donna Huston, of Moline; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandchildren, Ted Plunkett Jr and Robert "Bobby" Plunkett, sister Vivian Groves, brothers, Kennard Huston and William Huston, and sons-in-law, Donald Peer, Ted Plunkett Sr. and Emmett Summerford.
