MARRIED.—At the residence of the bride's parents in Medway township, Wednesday, Dec. 27, by Rev. Chenoweth, Miss Carrie Irvine and L. C. McDowell. The bride is one of an interesting family of young ladies, popular in Syracuse society. The groom was formerly a resident of this county, well and favorably known to our people. Immediately after the ceremony they took their departure for Denison, Texas, where he is engaged in business.

The funeral of Mrs. Carrie McDowell was held at 10 a. m. yesterday from the Davis Vories chapel. Rev. George W. Burroughs conducted the service which was very impressive. Miss Ruth Bench and Rev. Burroughs sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," "Then I shall Understand." The pall bearers were Walter Raney, William Young, George Moore, Charles Condit, Fred Wadell and A. L. Brown. Burial at Mountain View cemetery.

Mrs. Carrie McDowell, wife of J. L. McDowell, died last night at a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mildred, and a sister, Mrs. C. W. Fisher, living in Pueblo, and several brothers and sisters out of the city. The remains are at the Davis-Vories' undertaking parlors and funeral announcement will be made later.
