WEDDING

A quiet wedding took place at the M. E. Parsonage on Saturday June 15th, in which Miss Hazel Atkinson daughter of D. W. Atkinson of Salem neighborhood became a war bride by being united in marriage to Mr. Richard H. Irvine son of E. H. Irvine of Eldorado, Kansas, now in military service stationed at Camp Funston in the department of Cook and Bakers school Quartermaster's Corps. These young people were acquainted and lovers in Butler county and now culminated in the bond of conjugal relations, in which Mrs. Irvine will share with her husband in his joys and sorrows and hardships and in the final glory when the victory is won.

Mr. Irvine returned to camp on Tuesday morning. These young people have the best wishes of many friends.
