Elmer G. Blaine, 66, 516 East 13th, died at the Bothwell Hospital at 9:40 p. m. Wednesday. He was stricken with a heart attack last week and had been a patient at the hospital only two hours.
Mr. Blaine was born at Clinton, Mo., Nov. 25, 1893, the son of the late James and Julia Ballew Blaine. His boyhood and early life was spent in Henry County. He lived most of his life in the state of Kansas and for the past 12 years has lived in Sedalia.
He married Miss Gladys Arnett on Feb. 5, 1958.
Mr. Blaine was a member of the Camp Branch Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Blaine; three sons by a former marriage, Elmer, Sacramento, Calif., Henry Tallahassee, Fla., and Guy Blaine, Kansas City; five brothers, Dewey, Warrensburg; Henry, 1101 South Lamine; and Commodore, Eldorado, Kan., and Dan Blaine, Eldorado, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Snooks, Eldorado, Kan., Mrs. Stella Kitterman, Wichita, Kan. and a half sister, Mrs. Joanne Lowe, Kansas City. Five grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at the Ewing Funeral Home at 2:00 p. m. Friday. The Rev. E. O. Farier of Green Ridge will officiate.
Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery at Warrensburg.
The body is at the Ewing Funeral Home.

BRYAN, Texas — Willa M. Johnson, 86, of College Station, Texas, died here June 3 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness.
She was a native of Syracuse, Kan., and had lived in California for many years before moving to College Station two years ago. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Sacramento and the El Camino Chapter No. 428. She was also a member of the Grace Bible Church in College Station.
Survivors include two sons, Elmer E. Blaine of College Station and Henry M. Blaine of Tallassee; a sister, Nell Parker of Burden, Kan.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
