Sparks Youth Will Marry Girl in Reno

SPARKS, July 15.—Laurance L. Loveridge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Loveridge of this city, will be married to Miss Helen Virginia Day, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Day of Reno. The ceremony will take place at the home of the bride's parents in Reno tomorrow evening. Rev. Carl M. Warner, pastor of the Methodist church in Reno, will perform the ceremony.

Miss Mary Day, sister of the bride, will act as bridesmaid, while Vernon E. Loveridge, brother of the groom, will act as best man.

Miss Day is a native of Reno and a graduate of the Reno high school. She has a host of friends who wish her will. Mr. Loveridge is a graduate of the Sparks schools and is at present employed at the Highland dairy of Reno. Both young people are well known in Sparks and will make their home in this city.

Laurance Loveridge

Services for Laurance Lester Loveridge, 72, a 42-year employee of the Fuller Brush Co., will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Sierra View Chapel, 6201 Fair Oaks Blvd.

The native of Jackson and 39-year resident of Sacramento County died Tuesday.

Loveridge, employed with the company until the time of his death, was a field manager for 30 years.

He was a charter member of the South Sacramento Chamber of Commerce and was a past president of the Fruitridge School Dads Club.

Loveridge leaves his wife, Helen; and his daughter, Carol Rees of Sacramento, and three grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Laurance of 45 years. Also preceded in death by her sister Florence Day. A resident of Sacramento for 56 years. A native of Reno, NV. Aged 83 years. Visitation at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento on Tuesday, Mary 29 from 3-8 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 30 at 10 A.M. at East Lawn Mortuary Chapel. Interment to follow at East Lawn Sierra Hills.
