LEONARD THOMAS MAXWELL was born June 5, 1903 in Fairfax, Renville, Minnesota,⁷³⁷⁷ and died April 14, 1985 in Marion County, Oregon.⁸⁷⁶ He is buried in Mount Vernon Pioneer Cemetery, Springfield, Lane, Oregon.⁴⁵⁶

He married VERNITA L. WINZENRIED on July 10, 1928 in Marion County, Oregon,²⁵⁹⁸ daughter of ALBERTA MAUDE SYLVESTER and ALBERT CHRISTIAN WINZENRIED. She was born June 19, 1906 in Oregon,⁵⁶ and died February 14, 1970 in Oregon.⁷¹⁸⁷ She is buried in Mount Vernon Pioneer Cemetery, Springfield, Lane, Oregon.⁴⁵⁶

The marriage of Miss Vernita Winzenried, daughter of Mrs. H. J. Erickson, and Leonard Maxwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Maxwell, was quietly solemnized in Portland, Tuesday, July 10.

Both are graduates of the Eugene high school and former students at the University of Oregon where Mrs. Maxwell is a member of Phi Mu sorority and Phi Chi Theta, honorary national commerce sorority.

They are to reside in Eugene.
