A rose crystal shower and bridge party will be held at the home of the Misses Dorothy and Esther Lefler, 227 North Thirty-second street, Saturday evening, to honor Miss Cecile Shepard. A two-course supper will follow an evening spent playing bridge. Later, the twelve guests will be seated at one long table centered by a crystal basket of pink roses. Tapers will also be used on the table to carry out the color motif of pink and white.

At an afternoon service Saturday Miss Cecile Shepard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Shepard, will become the bride of Dr. G. L. McClun, son of Mrs. Mary McClun of Bennet. Baskets of pink gladioli and tall candelabra will be arranged before the fireplace of the Shepard home to form a setting for the service to be read by Rev. Ervine Inglis at 4 o'clock. Members of the family and intimate friends will be the only guests.
Preceding the ceremony, Miss Olinda Maul will sing, "I Love You Truly", and "At Dawning". She will be accompanied by Miss Louisa Creekpaum who will also play the wedding march.
Miss Corona McGrath of Hastings will be the bride's only attendant. She will wear a pink and blue flowered chiffon with an eggshell colored hat, lace mitts, and slippers. She will have a nosegay of pink roses and forget-me-nots. W. E. McClun will be best man.
The bride will wear a flesh-colored lace dress made with a closely fitted bodice and ankle length skirt, the only trimming being a bow of garnet velvet at the waistline. She will wear a large pink hat, pink mitts and carry an arm bouquet of Johanna Hill roses.
A reception will be held following the ceremony. Mrs. Hal J ? assisted by Miss Dorothy Lefler and Miss Marguerite Shepard will serve. Mrs. Gilbert Hanson will keep the guest book. Following a short trip the couple will be at home in Bennet. The bride's going away costume will be of blue knitted wool with matching accessories.

Louisville —Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church here, for Dr. George L. McClun, 84, retired veterinarian, who died here Friday.
A Louisvile resident for 29 years, Dr. McClun graduated from St. Joseph's Veterinary College and practiced in Nebraska until his retirement in 1964.
A life member of the Nebraska State Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. McClun was also a member of the United Methodist Chruch, Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star.
Survivors include his wife, Cecile; son, Jim of Louisville; brothers, Jesse of Torrington, Wyo., Vinton and Erl, both of Veteran, Wyo., and WIlliam of Cheyenne, Wyo.; sister, Mrs. Ethel Kaiser of Adams; and two grandchildren.
