Dyer-Miles Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest B. Dyer of Malta Bend, Missouri, announce the marriage of their daughter, Evelyn Louise, to Mr. James Ward Miles, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Miles, Monday evening, November 7 at the home of the officiating minister, Dr. C. J. English at Brookfield, Missouri. Mr. Miles left Friday morning for his position with the Department of Agriculture at Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Miles will join him later in Memphis, where they will live. Mrs. Miles graduated from Stephens college at Columbia. She has been employed as stenographer and bookkeeper for the Consumers Oil company.

EVELYN MILES

Evelyn Dyer Miles, 81, Springfield, Mo., formerly of this area, died Feb. 13, 1990, in a nursing home in Marshall, Mo. She was born in Malta Bend, Mo., and lived in Kansas City from 1949 until she moved to Springfield in 1973. Mrs. Miles was a bookkeeper before she retired. She was member of the First and Cavalry Presbyterian Church, Springfield. Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Kiser and Genevieve Erhnman of Marshall. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Union Cemetery, near Malta Bend. The family suggests contributions to the church.
