SERVICES CONDUCTED FOR MRS. MONROE

Hudson Mother of Three Small Children Is Stricken Suddenly

HUDSON, Aug. 5. — Funeral services were to be held Thursday for Mrs. Esther Lee Monroe, 23, wife of James W. Monroe and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Lee of Hudson. Mrs. Monroe died suddenly Tuesday morning at her home on Middleton rd. She had lived all her life in Hudson. Besides her husband and parents, she leaves three children, Helen, 3, James, 2, and baby, Judith, two weeks old.

Rev. Raymond C. Burns of the Congregational church, of which Mrs. Monroe was a member was to conduct the services which were held at the Johnson funeral home. Burial was made at Crown Hill Burial park.
