She was born December 7, 1915 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota,75, 13 and died October 17, 1986 in Santa Barbara County, California.250 She is buried in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota.77

IN THE chapel of St. John's Episcopal church, Washington, D. C., with only the immediate families in attendance, the Rev. John McGee read the services Thursday afternoon that united in marriage Miss Helen Jane Sweet of Minneapolis, Minn., and Lieut. John Pritchard Nash of Manitowoc, Wis. Lieut. Nash is of the judge advocate general's department in Washington and is the son of the Archie Lyman Nashes of Manitowoc.
The former Miss Sweet, daughter of the John Cochran Sweets of Minneapolis, wore traditional white satin for the service and carried a prayer book, across the open face of which lay a spray of white orchids. Miss Edith Sperry of Washington, her cousin, and Miss Brooks Potter of Pasadena, Calif., her niece, were her attendants.
George Roudebush of Washington, a former classmate of Lieut. Nash in Harvard university law school, Cambridge, Mass., was best man.
Following the service, the young people greeted their relatives and closest friends at a reception at the Mayflower hotel. Present from Manitowoc were the bridegroom's parents and his sister, Mrs. Wistar Ambler of New York, who spent her summer in Manitowoc. Mr. Amber joined his wife in Washington and both will return to New York.
The bride, prominent in Junior league activities and war work in Minneapolis, is a graduate of Northrop Collegiate school there and Smith college, Northampton, Mass. She also attended the University of Minnesota. Her husband attended Lawrenceville school, Lawrenceville, N. J., and is a graduate of Princeton university, Princeton, N. J., and the Harvard law school.
