The arrival of Miss Polly Sweet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Cochrane Sweet of Minneapolis, on the S.S. President Pierce Friday will probably be the signal for a series of parties for the attractive house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Porter (Margaret Sweet) of Fern Drive, Pasadena.
The Potters came to Pasadena less than two years ago and this is Miss Polly's first visit since her sister and brother-in-law became permanent residents.
Mr. Potter left Thursday evening for a week's business trip in New York City but will return in time to attend the buffet supper and dancing party next Saturday evening to which thirty guests are being bidden.
Mr. and Mrs. Sweet will arrive in Pasadena about February 15.
