FUNERAL SERVICES ARE HELD IN ORION

Rites of Mrs. E. S. Naugle Conducted From Baptist Church

Orion, Ill., April 24 — The funeral of Mrs. E. S. Naugle, 61 years old, who died at her home in Laporte City, Iowa, Tuesday, were held from the Orion Baptist church yesterday afternoon at 1:20 o'clock with Rev. H. L. Alley officiating.

Effie Huston was born near Orion June 19, 1869, and resided here until her marriage to S. E. Naugle of Garrison, Iowa, 18 years ago. Seven years ago they moved to Laporte City.

Surviving are the widower, four brothers, J. W. and George Huston of Orion, Ed Huston of Oneta, Iowa and Clarence Huston of Moline.

Burial was in Western cemetery.

Former Resident of Orion Is Dead at 76

ORION, Ill., —(Special)—Samuel E. Naugle, 76, formerly of Orion, died Wednesday in a Cedar Rapids, Ia., hospital. Burial rites will be held at 1 p. m. Friday in Western cemetery, Orion.

He was born in Shippensberg, Pa., Jan. 13, 1871 and was a harness maker in Orion for many years. He married Effie Huston Aug. 21, 1912 and she died April 21, 1931. He later remarried.

Surviving are the widow; a step daughter, Mrs. Ray Murdock of Cedar Rapids and two sisters in Pennsylvania.
